Finally I’ve finished watching K-on! anime series, and is now reading the manga. There’s a lot of cuteness in it, but I’m fine with it. I like the characters and the silly situations they always seem to get themselves into. But what I really love about K-on! is the music, especially the ending theme “Don’t say ‘lazy’“. “ふわふわ時間 / Fuwa Fuwa Time” is not bad too, if you’re into anime songs. Well, I love J-rock and anime songs~ so this type of music attracts me a lot.

If there’s a nickname that I can give to both Yui and Mio, it would be “Blur-queen” and “Shy-girl”. I think those names would fit them well, don’t you think so too? He he he… Okay, lame jokes aside, I rather like these two main characters, but I absolutely adore Yui’s sister, Ui Hirasawa. But their teacher Sawako Yamanaka is cool yet hilarious at the same time. Sawako-sensei’s split personality reminds me of Soichi Negishi from Detroit Metal City. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry at her. XD

The art used in the wallpaper is from K-on! manga. I really love their chibi versions, and their Nendoroid versions are so cute too! I shall resist the temptation to add them to my Nendoroid collection. No money (;_;)~ *sniffles* Anyway, stay tune for Ritsu and Tsumugi wallpapers in future posts. It’s Rilakkuma madness I tell you~ Everywhere I go, I see that bear and his friends everywhere. Well, I have to admit that Rilakkuma is very cute. Plus I have a very soft spot for cute things. XD

Just last weekend, I went toy hunting and was so tempted to buy that giant Rilakkuma plushie. (;A;) Seeing Rilakkuma’s happy face and the ways of relaxing, relaxes me too. As a simple tribute to my favourite San-X company that produces so many lovely cute characters, below are two simple mobile phone wallpapers. It seems to give your phone a face like Rilakkuma’s or Korilakkuma’s.

Who is Rilakkuma / リラックマ?
He is a brown bear that appears in Kaoru-san’s house one day and stays with her. His favourite foods are pudding, dango (Japanese sweet sticky balls), hotcakes and omelette rice (omu rice). He enjoys watching television, listening to music and often visits the onsen (hot spring bath). He doesn’t like to move around and prefers to relax as much as possible. XD I wish my life could be like his.

Who is Korilakkuma / コリラックマ?
Like Rilakkuma, Korilakkuma also appears out of nowhere and stays together with Rilakkuma. He is a small white bear who loves to stick close to Rilakkuma, either to do things together or just to pester him. XD He also loves listening to music. Korilakkuma is a young bear so he doesn’t know how to talk much, except repeats the last words that Rilakkuma says. Sounds like a little brother to Rilakkuma.

Ha ha ha I like the way Rilakkuma relaxes in the hot spring~ His blushes are cute. Not to mention, Korilakkuma is surrounded by bath-toys. Too bad no yellow rubber ducky. XD

Today I finally get to watch Disney Pixar’s 3D animation movie - UP today. I totally fell in love with it. The movie is so nice and heart-warming, yet funny at the same time. The story plot, in my opinion, is nicely written and the characters’ personalities are all well-developed. Plus the music score is absolutely brilliant. Cheers to Michael Giacchino for producing such a brilliant music score. I give this movie a good 5/5 rating. *thumbs up*

I won’t say much about the movie. So, please go to your nearest cinema and watch it. I highly recommend it :) If possible, try not to watch the official trailer as there are more spoilers in it.

I’m in such a hyper fan-girl mode that I can’t help making this wallpaper as a tribute to the movie. The art for Russell is taken from their official website. I love this art style as much as the 3D version of Russell. I like Carl Fredricksen too. Although he may be grumpy looking, he is still a very lovable grandfather figure. I think I might watch the movie again. :3

Kawaii Bunny invades your phone! This is Minarai from Zenryoku Usagi / 全力ウサギ, also known as 全力兔 in Chinese.

Zenryoku Usagi is created by Kei Ikeda. Firstly published as books and later adapted into Anime series, with each episode around 15mins. Zenryoku Usagi is about this group of rabbits that works in a construction company. Their motto is “to do your best” in all they do, whether is eating, crying, laughing or working. XD Each episode features a different story and focuses on different bunnies, but the main character is Minarai.

If I remember correctly, Minarai is the youngest member of the construction company. He used to live a very care-free lifestyle, and not doing anything for himself. Then something happened and inspired Minarai to join the company and trying to live his life based on the motto “to do your best”. A lot of funny things happen with him around XD Especially when he gets his pay, he’ll spent it all on food. XD Leading him to taking part time job at night as a waiter. Oh yah, do not be fooled by his thick eyebrows. XD hehehe

I need to get myself a Minarai plushie. Getting more addicted to cute (kawaii) things these days. Not to mention Japanese pop / rock songs too. Oh my lovely Mr Children~ Oops, getting carried away. “Zetsubou shita~!” Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei is here! Nendoroid Nozomu Itoshiki is making his despairing yet cute appearance in a mobile phone near yours. (Sensei: “I’m in despair to be a wallpaper!”) ^_^”’ ah ha ha ha

I’ve only watched the 1st season of “Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei” and I find it quite hilarious that Nozomu Itoshiki can turn any subject into a despressing and despairing thing. Yet, his pessimistic atitude is countered by an extremely optimistic girl known only as Kafuka Fuura. XD It’s just so hilarious to see the interaction between those two.

So far, I haven’t watched Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei Season 2 and 2.5, and now Season 3 is going to be broadcasting in Japan this month. I really need to find some good source to either download or stream anime online. =_=

Last weekend BMecha and I went to the Toy Carnival @ Singapore Art Museum. He bought lots of Revoltech, while I managed to get some cute stuffs there. Spent about SGD100 on them, so now I’m broke. Nendoroid Sebastian haven’t arrive yet, most probably 3rd week of July. T_T
