In celebration of Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance / ヱヴァンゲリヲン新劇場版: 破 movie being shown in Singapore cinema soon, meobi presents Ayanami Rei.

Although B-Mecha and I have to wait for the movie, we satisfied our Eva-cravings by re-watching the entire Evangelion TV Series and also Petit Eva: Evangelion @ School Series. You can say we were “Eva-high” hahaha… XD Rei is such a cutie in this version. Plus the entire cast in super-deformed style is absolutely adorable. Even Evangelion Unit 01 is made into a cuter version, a human-sized robot acting like a school bully.

For those who haven’t watch Petit Eva, I highly recommend watching it if you’re up for some laughs. It’s about 24-episodes of parody with the Evangelion characters in high school. The series also features “three Rei sisters”: one is a young child-like Rei, 2nd is the normal Rei from the TV series, and the 3rd is an alternative Rei who is more hyperactive and klutzy.

Finally I’ve finished watching K-on! anime series, and is now reading the manga. There’s a lot of cuteness in it, but I’m fine with it. I like the characters and the silly situations they always seem to get themselves into. But what I really love about K-on! is the music, especially the ending theme “Don’t say ‘lazy’“. “ふわふわ時間 / Fuwa Fuwa Time” is not bad too, if you’re into anime songs. Well, I love J-rock and anime songs~ so this type of music attracts me a lot.

If there’s a nickname that I can give to both Yui and Mio, it would be “Blur-queen” and “Shy-girl”. I think those names would fit them well, don’t you think so too? He he he… Okay, lame jokes aside, I rather like these two main characters, but I absolutely adore Yui’s sister, Ui Hirasawa. But their teacher Sawako Yamanaka is cool yet hilarious at the same time. Sawako-sensei’s split personality reminds me of Soichi Negishi from Detroit Metal City. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry at her. XD

The art used in the wallpaper is from K-on! manga. I really love their chibi versions, and their Nendoroid versions are so cute too! I shall resist the temptation to add them to my Nendoroid collection. No money (;_;)~ *sniffles* Anyway, stay tune for Ritsu and Tsumugi wallpapers in future posts. K-on! ending - Don’t say ‘lazy’

Joining Kagami Hiiragi in this new post, is Lucky Star’s main character *drum rolls* Konata Izumi~ 8D Everyone applause please. ;p

I like Konata because we share the same likings, being an otaku that is~ 8D Watching anime, reading manga and playing games ;p plus being lazy - we are just so alike in that aspect lol. But of course, Konata is way beyond my level of otaku-ness. Somemore, her dad is also an otaku and he often buys *coughadultcough* games for himself and Konata. ^^”’ I should be happy that my dad doesn’t do that to me. :) It is very funny to watch how she interacts with her friends, the Hiiragi twins and Miyuki Takara, as their personalities are all very different. It’s somewhat interesting ;p

I think we need more handsome bishounen in meobi, yeh? *wink wink* kakaka perhaps in the near future, unless you have any good suggestions. :) I’ll be posting Tsukasa Hiiragi next, so she can join her sister.

“Everyone! Please stop! Don’t Fight!” *music begins* Here is our 2nd Anime Girls in Meobi.net, Ranka Lee from Macross Frontier!

Ever since Macross Frontier is on air, Ranka Lee attack sure hit a lot of innocent guys like me. Especially her killer pose is already a new culture in anime world (i remember someone pose his Gundam Exia the same way =___=). Every since Fluff posted Kagami, i decided to make Ranka into my mobile phone and post it here. Other than Mecha, i need some cute anime girls to balance my otakuness as well (*grins*).

This time is a new experiment. Instead of getting a toy photo, i use Macromedia Freehand to trace instead. To avoid too many colour showing everywhere, i change her cloth’s colour to green to fit her hair colour. If you want Ranka to “kirah” at your phone, please don’t hestitate to click the bottom link to download the wallpaper with the suitable resolution :).
